From standard 553 to ultra-pure 2202 — the full range of industrial silicon metal grades for aluminum, chemical, electronics and solar applications.
Silicon metal is a gray and shiny semiconductor also known as crystalline silicon or industrial silicon. Produced by reducing quartzite with carbon in electric arc furnaces, it is available in multiple purity grades classified by their iron (Fe), aluminum (Al) and calcium (Ca) content.
AL-LINX operates direct supply relationships with our factory in Anyan, China — one of the leading producers of silicon metal. This allows us to guarantee consistent quality, full traceability and the ability to fulfill custom specifications across all grades.

Select the grade best suited for your application. Custom sizing available: 10–50mm, 50–100mm, 10–100mm or per your requirements.

| Si | Fe | Al | Ca |
|---|---|---|---|
| ≥ 99.79% | ≤ 0.10% | ≤ 0.10% | ≤ 0.01% |
Ultra-high purity grade with the tightest impurity controls in our range. Silicon 1101 is designed for the most demanding applications in electronics, semiconductor manufacturing and precision chemical synthesis where maximum silicon content is critical.

| Si | Fe | Al | Ca |
|---|---|---|---|
| ≥ 99.69% | ≤ 0.15% | ≤ 0.15% | ≤ 0.01% |
High-purity grade combining very low calcium content with tight iron and aluminum controls. Silicon 1501 is ideal for solar applications and high-grade organosilicon compound manufacturing where consistent ultra-low impurities are required.

| Si | Fe | Al | Ca |
|---|---|---|---|
| ≥ 98.5% | ≤ 0.5% | ≤ 0.5% | ≤ 0.3% |
The most widely used grade in aluminum alloy production. Silicon 553 improves the mechanical properties of aluminum — increasing strength while reducing weight in die-casting and casting applications.

| Si | Fe | Al | Ca |
|---|---|---|---|
| ≥ 99% | ≤ 0.4% | ≤ 0.4% | ≤ 0.1% |
A high-quality additive for non-ferrous alloys produced by smelting quartz and coke in electric arc furnaces. Silicon 441 is preferred when slightly higher purity is required.

| Si | Fe | Al | Ca |
|---|---|---|---|
| ≥ 99.5% | ≤ 0.2% | ≤ 0.2% | ≤ 0.02% |
High-purity grade with tight impurity controls. Silicon 2202 is used in applications demanding very low iron and aluminum content, including electronics and specialty chemical manufacturing.

| Si | Fe | Al | Ca |
|---|---|---|---|
| ≥ 99% | ≤ 0.3% | ≤ 0.3% | ≤ 0.03% |
Balanced purity grade suitable for silicone rubber, resin and oil production. Silicon 3303 meets requirements for medical-grade insulation, lubrication and specialty compound manufacturing.

| Si | Fe | Al | Ca |
|---|---|---|---|
| ≥ 97% | ≤ 1.5% | ≤ 0.9% | ≤ 0.3% |
Cost-effective option where ultra-high purity is not required. Off-grade silicon 97 is widely used in applications that tolerate higher impurity levels, offering significant cost advantages.
